Many things have changed since Joseph Pilates first developed his techniques. My training brings the best of his techniques into the 21st Century by combining his principles with all the recent research and knowledge we have about fitness, exercise, and core stability. My unique exercises classes have been devised to bring in specific exercises which focus on full body strength, improving flexibility and building lean muscle with an emphasis on lengthening and aligning the body.

Yogalates is a mixture of Yoga and Pilates. The class will begin with breath work and a Yoga style warm up. Then comes Pilates style exercises with a focus on core training. The class will finish with a stretch and relaxation. This class takes place in the Percy Centre, a vibrant and welcoming community centre in the heart of Bath.
I discovered Pilates following back issues when my chiropractor referred me to this exercise and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been practicing Body Control Pilates for the past 15 years and now as a certified instructor, I’m making it my mission to bring this exercise to others.
