Yoga enables me to find balance in a busy world. I have been practising yoga in Wirral for many years and time on my mat is always well spent. Teaching is a joy as I love sharing the benefits of yoga with my students.
Yoga for You, offers a range of Hatha Yoga classes in the rural area of Wrexham and Chester. Yoga for You, encourages all ages to work to their own comfortable level on a week by week basis.
Classes focus on Ashtanga; a style of yoga which generally follows a faster-paced, strict series of postures. My classes give an introduction to Ashtanga Yoga, featuring a variety of standing, balancing and seated postures each week so that people can learn, develop and practice poses from the full Ashtanga Primary Series. We work through Sun Salutations at the beginning of each class to warm up the body. These involve a series of 10-17 postures which we flow through with our breath and repeat a couple of times. It may take one or two classes before you feel confident with these short routines, if you are completely new to yoga, but you will soon get the hang of it and they're actually a great little routine to practice at home if you have a spare 10 minutes as Salutations are great for working the whole body.
Lifeworx combines different lineages of Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Group Therapy, Pilates and Meditation for our students in various locations around Chester, welcoming all practitioners of all ages and across all demographics.
