My name is Danielle and I discovered Pilates over ten years ago and was instantly hooked. I found the discipline invaluable in helping to alleviate neck and back pain. The benefits and enjoyment that I gained from Pilates made me decide to train to become a teacher. I qualified as a Matwork Pilates Instructor with Body Control Pilates in 2011 and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification. I have continued to develop my skills and knowledge in the area and have since gained further qualifications including Intermediate Matwork, Ante-Natal and Post-Natal Pilates and Pilates for Children. I am a member of The Body Control Pilates Association and the Register of Exercise Professionals. My calm, friendly, yet precise approach to teaching helps my participants feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing them to gain the maximum benefit from their classes. My goal is for everyone to obtain a thorough understanding of how Pilates can benefit their bodies and I love seeing the progress that my clients make.
At Emily Wratten Dance Fitness there are a range of classes that aim to get everyone moving. Whether you are an absolute beginner, have danced all your life or you are dusting off your pointe shoes there is class for you.
Balboa is a swing-era partner dance that can be fast and furious or smooth and elegant. Solo jazz steps offer the pleasure of freedom to improvise alone or with others in classic routines. The Charleston can be danced solo or partnered and has always been an expression of the carefree dancer.
