R4 Reach Review

R4 Reach

DAY 74

4.5 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

From the outside R4 Reach may appear to be a Crossfit Gym, but this is far more of a hybrid/functional offering. Beards and tattoos are not a prerequisite here, but many are still adorned.

You’ll find a sweaty cavern spread across 3 rooms, containing equipment found in Crossfit gyms – AirbikeSki ErgWatt BikesConcept 2 Rowers and Wood Way. But alongside this, tucked around a corner there are Dumbells that can be used alongside the array of BarsBalls and Kettlebells that are used to steam up the mirrors on a regular basis. Upstairs there are some basic changing facilities and a few drinks/supplements to buy.

Sessions generally follow a Circuit style approach, but times and reps are mixed up, with teams often being used to really push you to the limit.Certainly not the feint hearted and a rival for The Foundry, for those that have been there!

Alex is a Cheerleader, not literally pompom wheelding (unfortunately), but he does install enthusiasm and drive performance, and has been known to do the occasional jig.
