What's Hot?

Grace Lounge Hot Yoga Studio

This week we spoke to Grace, founder and instructor of award-winning Grace Lounge Hot Yoga (GLHY), to find out how she has grown her studio and, maybe, more importantly, why!

Grace Lounge will be 2 years old in September and I am so excited and very grateful that Grace Lounge won the best Yoga & Pilates Studio 2018, today we go and collect the award. I am feeling very blessed to have my dream turn into reality and share health & wellness with as many people as I possibly can. With my fabulous team of yoga teacher's and GL members and students who are committed to their practice, I have been honoured to share GLHY experience and bring health & wellness to so many.

Grace Lounge Hot Yoga was created to share health & wellness back into the community and beyond. The studio is a bespoke built hot yoga studio, offering state of the art heating system which is an eco-friendly, infrared health heating flow. Sonos surround sound and mood lighting, give that extra special experience from start to finish. The GL members & students comment saying as soon as they enter the studio they feel a release once they smell the aromas they know this is their time.

I opened the studio based on health & wellness after I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2010. I practised hot yoga & meditation instead of taking the medication from my GP. I researched the benefits of hot yoga for several years and the list is endless and just amazing. GLHY has helped many of our members. A lovely young lady Rachel joined GL 1 year ago after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and Rachel changed her diet and practised hot yoga to help her. After 5 months of hot yoga and a diet without sugar, Rachels cancer was 50% gone. March 2018 Rachels doctor told her it had all gone. When I heard this news I was elated as I just knew GLHY was going to help many people.
